Installing Guardey on MacOS is very easy and only takes a few minutes.
- First register for an account via: Start 14 days free.
- Then go to Downloads in the portal and download the MacOS version of Guardey.
- Make sure that the user you are logged in with on your Mac has administrator rights and open the installation file you downloaded in the previous step.
- Follow the installation steps until the installation is complete.
- To set up Guardey's secure connection properly, it is necessary to give Guardey permission in your system preferences:
- Navigate to your system preferences on your Mac, and go to "Security & Privacy" preferences. Open the lock by clicking on the icon, fill out your Mac password, and click on the button "Allow", after this step you can close the lock again by clicking on it. You can now go back to the Guardey app.
- After installation, go through the onboarding steps so that Guardey is configured according to your wishes or ask the administrator of your organization to do this for you.
